LONDON-based venture capital firm, Luminous Ventures has strengthened its advisory board further with the appointment of expert sales strategist, Ryan Ward.
Ryan has over 25 years’ experience and a proven track record of helping US companies establish their EMEA presence, working with them from their early stages through to IPO and beyond. He has worked with companies such as Salesforce, Xactly, Oracle, Adobe, SAP and Docusign on their all-important sales and go-to-market strategies. Significantly, he helped both Salesforce and Xactly transform from start-ups and expand out of America, helping to structure their successful UK businesses. He additionally assisted with Xactly’s expansion into Europe.
Ryan now joins the high-calibre team making up Luminous Ventures’ advisory board, which includes former Pearson plc CFO James Joll, Super Angel John Taysom, Capital Enterprise CEO John Spindler, Bitpay CCO Sonny Singh, scientist-entrepreneur Dr Peter Crane and SURFnCODE’s Co-Founders Shadi Mahassel, John Chang and Mo Ladha as well as its Chief Scientist, Koen Vos. Together, they provide invaluable commercial and domain expertise to Luminous Ventures’ growing portfolio companies.
